The opportunities for juniors to play and receive coaching at CLTC are extensive, with the Club proudly catering for players from beginner level through to performance.
Our Junior Tennis Programme, headed up by the Club’s Director of Tennis, Daren Quilty, runs on a termly basis and caters for players of all ages (3.5 – 18 years), with classes being run from Monday to Saturday. The courses are structured in line with LTA Mini Tennis guidelines, further details of which can be found by clicking here >> To take part in this programme, players can choose between becoming a Programme or Club Member, with Club Members having access to our facilities outside of the lesson times.

We also run a Performance Programme for children aged 5 years and above, which is designed for those players with the right ability and commitment to further enhance their skills. These squads are accessed by invitation only. For further information on this programme, including details of eligibility requirements, please contact Daren Quilty. Performance Players need to be Club Members.
In addition to coaching, junior members of CLTC are able to represent the Club in a variety of teams (AEGON Team Tennis and Middlesex Leagues), compete internally in leagues (see below), ladders and tournaments, and play at Junior Club Night on a Friday evening (spring, summer and autumn – restarting Friday 17 March 2017). Players are also able to book courts to play and practice on, with some courts marked as priority for junior use.
Junior Tennis Leagues
The Internal Junior Tennis Leagues can be entered into by all Junior Club Members and are a great way for players to compete.
The first league is set to run from Monday 6 February – Friday 31 March 2017, so if you would like to get involved, please sign up either on the notice board in the Table Tennis room, or online by clicking here. The deadline for entries is Friday 3 February!
For those players in Green and Yellow boxes, please arrange and play your matches directly with your opponents. For those in Red and Orange, one day events are being organised, with the first Orange event being Friday 10 February from 6.30 – 8.00pm. More dates will be announced in March.
