Robert Schlagman Cup

Robert Schlagman was a long term member of Hampstead Cricket Club and a founder member of the backgammon section.

Following his death in 2015, in his memory, each summer, the Cumberland hosts a U.K. Backgammon Federation (UKBGF) tournament to compete for the Robert Schlagman Cup.

The event attracts a strong field, comprising 32 players, including a no. of the U.K.‘s top rated players, as well as Robert’s two sons, Alex and Jules, and several members of the Cumberland backgammon section.
