Notice – Electronic Communications Update

In our continued drive to improve our green credentials, reduce our output of printed material and improve our communication with members, the Cumberland is working on a programme of changes designed to support one or more of these objectives.

In August members were advised of the changes planned to the old style handbook and the introduction of a members’ directory (first name, surname, work, home, mobile numbers – no addresses) to be issued each January.

The Cumberland website will become the home for the other contents of the old handbook (e.g. Chairman’s Report, Rules and Regulations and Honours lists) although, upon request, a copy can be provided.

The website will continue to be developed to provide a considerable amount of information and member services.

Please do visit the website to browse the facilities it offers and let us have your views on it and on any subjects you may wish to have included in the future.

The Cumberland is committed to this programme and we will continue to update you and report on our progress.
