The 19-acre estate of Les Taloches is on the edge of the pretty
riverside village of Tourtoirtac and only a few miles from the
magnificant chateau of Hautefort.
Once a typical Dordogne farm, the honey-stone farmhouse and
converted barn are now two quality holiday homes. On either side
of a charming courtyard, each of our spacious villas has its
own private swimming pool, secluded garden and separate entrance.

Tony Grenville has written the first history of the Jewish
refugees who fled from Germany and Austria after 1933 to escape
Hitler and settled in Britain. The Hampstead area, either side
of Finchley Road, was home to the largest number of them. The

Friends of Home Physiotherapy
My name is Richard Wetzki and I am the 1st Cumberland Tennis
Men's Team captain taking over from Colin. On Sunday 25th April
I will be running the London Marathon in support of a local
charity in East Sussex which means a great deal to me and my
family. The 'Friends of Home Physiotherapy' are a fantastic group
of people helping young and old with often terminal illness to
make life a little bit more comfortable for them and their
families.

Friends of Home Physiotherapy
My grandmother has been the honourary president of the charity
for over 36 years and I am very proud to be given the place to
run in the London Marathon and represent the Friends. Now I am,
of course, hoping to raise as many funds as I can to support the
charity and have come up with the following plan:
Marathon Tennis Day
On Saturday 27th March I am organising a 'Marathon Tennis Day'
at the Cumberland which will involve me being on court from
sunrise to sunset and inviting you to come and hit with me ...
whether you would like to play for 30-45 minutes or more/less
is up to you. We can just hit some balls, do some drills or play
some singles/doubles - it's entirely your call. I just hope you
will come and join me ... and in exchange for the hit donate an
amount of your choice to the Friends.

As per attached poster (click to enlarge),

you can either give me a call, drop me
an email or book your slot on a sign-in sheet at the club (it
will be attached to the wall by the TV area) and I look forward
to meeting you on court. Please always leave your mobile number
and email address (if available) when you reply to ensure we can
get in touch on the day.
Alternatively, if you cannot make it on the day and still would
kindly like to support my run for the Friends, please make your
donation via the following link
www.virginmoneygiving.com/RichardforFriends
or reply to the office and we will handle it from there. Any
support would be very much appreciated and I can promise you
will make a huge difference.
Many thanks, Richard.
